Egypt and Jordan holiday

On arrival you will be met and taken to check in to your hotel and rest.
In the afternoon you will be picked up from your hotel and go to visit the three pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Your guide will explain the history of these amazing monuments and then there will be time for you to take a camel ride if you wish and enjoy taking photos. You will then go to see the Solar Boat museum.
Overnight Cairo

In the morning we will go on a tour to visit to visit Cairo Museum the house of the Ancient Egyptian treasure including the famous Tut-Ankh-Amon treasure then take a tour to explore Mohammed Ali Citadel erected in 1183 A.D. The Alabaster Mosque of Mohammed Ali is one of the landmarks of Cairo whose minaret is spotted from any part of the city. Have lunch then take a walk in the small streets of the old Khan El Khalili market established around 1400 A.D before going back to your Hotel. Overnight Cairo

In the morning you will be met and to Cairo airport to catch the 1H flight to Luxor where you will be met and taken and transferred by private air-conditioned bus to check onto your Nile cruise boat for lunch.
In the afternoon will be taken to visit the largest temple in Egypt, the magnificent Karnak temple. The complex is a vast open-air museum and the largest ancient religious site in the world. You will then go onto Luxor temple which was dedicated to the Theban triad of Amun, Mut, and Chons and was built during the New Kingdom.

Morning Option – At sunrise enjoy a balloon ride over the West Bank of Luxor, please see optional list for details. After breakfast, you will visit the west bank of Luxor, including a special visit to the house of Howard Carter and the replica tomb of Tutankhamun, the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut Temple and stop at the Colossi of Memnon. Once you finish head back to your boat to enjoy your lunch.

Enjoy breakfast and the views as you sail onto Edfu where you will visit the beautifully preserved temple dedicated to Horus dating back to 200BC. After your visit, return to the boat and sail past Gebel el Silsila where the sandstone for the temples of Southern Egypt was quarried. The great Stele of Akhenaten came from here and it is thought that 3000 labourers produced the quarried stone that built the Ramesseum. Sail on towards Kom Ombo where you will visit the temple dedicated to the Gods Haroreris and Sobek, the crocodile god and stopping overnight.

Today you will also be going on a tour to visit the high Dam passing by the old dam of Aswan, then cross the Nile by motorboat to visit one of the most beautiful temples in Egypt ISIS temple built on the Philae Island. Overnight on board

After lunch you will be transferred to Aswan airport to take your flight to Amman via Cairo. You will be met at Amman airport and transferred to your hotel

A trip to the Holy Land in the south, to the “City of Mosaics” Madaba, wherein the church of St. George is located oldest mosaic map of the Holy Land. Then visit Mount Nebo – alleged burial place of the Prophet Moses, where the Franciscans erected a temple in honor of the saint with magnificent mosaics and the Cross-Staff. Mount Nebo offers magnificent view of the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, on a fine sunny day, you can even see the rooftops of Jerusalem and Bethlehem. Excursion to Bethany – Jordan Valley – a sacred place of religious pilgrims, here on the banks of the holy river Jesus Christ was baptized by John the Baptist, where he lived and preached. Here was a living prophet Elijah ascended to heaven. Tourists will have the opportunity to swim in the river. Return to the hotel at the Dead Sea.

Excursion to Petra. Today, enjoy Excursion to Petra, both a Jordanian national treasure and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The ancient capital of the Nabataeans, Petra once sheltered Arab traders who came through the region with precious cargoes of spices, silks, ivory, and rare pelts. Walk through the Siq, a narrow and winding fissure between the cliffs to reach towering Treasury, a building rising 140 feet that is cut into the sheer rock face. Also see the Roman Theatre, the Courts, and the Temple of the Winged Lion. Along the way, you will also see the impressive architecture of countless temples, water channels, arched gates, and royal tombs, the remnants of a once great culture. Time will allow you to wander among the countless structures including temples, a roman theatre, baths and great staircases of antiquity. Return to the hotel of Petra for overnight stay.

Transfer to Wadi Rum desert for two hours Jeep ride, visiting the Seven Pillars of Wisdom, the Laurence’s Well, the Themodite scripts at Al-Khaz-Ali, the pink sand dunes. After excursion transfer to the hotel in Amman and overnight

In the morning you will be transferred to Amman airport to catch your flight back to home.
